The 52nd R&D 100 Awards recognize Excellims’ High Performance Ion Mobility Spectrometer as one of the 100 most innovative technologies introduced in 2013.

Excellims Corporation announced today that its IA3100 High-Performance Ion Mobility Spectrometer has won a prestigious R&D 100 award for the most innovative new technologies of 2013. Addition of the IA3100 instrument to common HPLC systems brings high resolution ion mobility separation/detection capability to improve analytical testing across a range of applications from food and beverages to pharmaceuticals. The two dimensional (2D) HPLC-HPIMS separation can significantly improve productivity, by reducing HPLC run time, minimizing HPLC method development time, and offering an outstanding solution for otherwise difficult isomer separations.
The R&D 100 Awards recognize excellence across a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, optics, high-energy physics, materials science, chemistry and biotechnology.
